Walkrite was founded in 2003 in order to provide accessible, high-quality, professional Podiatric care. Although Walkrite specialises in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Podiatry, Walkrite clinicians also have extensive experience in other areas of Podiatric practice and work closely with specialist teams to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
We endeavour only to use equipment and provide treatments that are recognised as gold standard and, where possible, evidence-based and indicated in improving your pain and mobility, at the same time as embracing the latest developments in technology and practice in this field.
Walkrite clinicians hold qualifications that are recognised by mainstream regulatory bodies such as the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), which regulates clinicians in the NHS and in the private sector, The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SCP) which is the main representative body of Podiatrists in the UK and The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) for Walkrite Podiatrists who also work in surgical environments. Our clinical locations are audited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and we work within a peer-group multi-disciplinary team environment, ensuring that our treatments are closely monitored and representative of best practice.
We are always striving to achieve the best care possible and we aim to provide a positive caring environment that will improve your pain, increase your mobility and improve your quality of life.
We treat every part of the body (not just backs!) and are trained to diagnose just like a medical doctor. If it's not something we can treat musculoskeletally using gentle soft tissue and manipulation, then we will refer you to the right person to help you.
Injuries can often be the result of a running style or 'gait' where the is room for improvement to become more efficient and put less stress on the body. Please contact us for further details of how we can help.
